Kan Yama Kan
كان ياما كان
A WonderJunkie vision brought to life, Kan Yama Kan combines the ingenuity of 100 team members from 16 different nationalities whose creative minds worked in perfect synergy to produce a breathtaking and immersive theatrical experience, performed in Arabic.
Leveraging cutting-edge visuals and world-class music, Kan Yama Kan re-interprets the famous fame story of the 1001 Nights.

KSA Pavilion at Osaka EXPO 2025
A WonderJunkie vision brought to life, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavillion at Expo 2025 Osaka brings together architecture, placemaking and storytelling in a rich cultural experience that invites visitors to explore the wonders of Saudi Arabia.
In collaboration with Done+Dusted, Foster + Partners and 59 Studio, WonderJunkie played a leading creative role from competition to completion, helping shape a space inspired by the desert, the ancient structures of Al Ula and the urban forms of the Kingdom. We worked closely with partners to lead the artistic direction and production delivery of the two artist’s studios and the evolving nightly show.
Through immersive soundscapes, visual storytelling, and two artist-led cultural studios, the pavilion becomes a living canvas for Saudi innovation, culminating in a nightly show that evolves across the six-month Expo.

Zeina's Saudi Arabian roots, her Lebanese background, and her European education are some of the main catalysts behind our founder's cultural depth and love of adventure.
She is the archetypal ‘wonder junkie’ whose addiction to awe drives the insatiable search, across our work, for experiences that encapsulate intensity of perception and depth of feeling to actively share rather than impart.

Upon relocating to London with her children in 2010, Zeina decided to focus on her love of theatre and immersive experiences. She studied Set Design at Central Saint Martin’s and became completely drawn to experiential arts and the emerging concepts of immersive set design. This is where she detected the opportunity to share stories that audiences can actively take part in.
